Announcement: Safeguarding against Coronavirus at Pearson Institute

At Pearson, our priority is to protect the health of staff, students and of parents, and safeguard against the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Please note that the decision has been made to suspend all face-to-face delivery of learning and all student gatherings at our twelve Pearson Institute campuses across South Africa. This means that classes will be suspended from Tuesday, 17 March 2020, until further notice. At this stage we envisage classes resuming on Tuesday, 14 April 2020. We will also be suspending all examinations, tests and graduation ceremonies.

A detailed communication will be sent to all students and parents via email and myLMS today. We will also keep social media updated in the coming days.

With this being said, we at Pearson Institute are going to do everything in our power to ensure the success of our students. Learning materials will continue to be available for access and review on myLMS, and our academic department have begun work to revise the academic calendar for 2020 so that our students can continue to flourish in their studies.

Please revert to your email and myLMS, and please follow us on Facebook to receive the latest updates.
